| My all
time favorite Photoshop activity is modifying
photographs. Just about every picture on this site had
been modified in some way (brightening, sharpening, removing
dates, etc.). You can even remove or add people, and do
all sorts of cool stuff

My friend
Naomi is a bit of a Mustang fan. When she was
over one evening we found a picture of a mustang in
front of a house and I showed her how you could change
pictures to suit your needs. The picture that will
come up by clicking on the thumbnail is an animation
showing the building of the picture (after the house was
removed from behind the car), and then scrolls through
different color options that I was playing with (Naomi
wanted to see the car in purple which is what started
the whole thing). :) |
| I am a bit of a Beatles
fan, and have always liked the cover for Abby
Road. I scanned in the album, cut out the Beatles
themselves, and modified the background of the
album. This was basically a test of some of the
features of Photoshop and the various plug-ins that I
have. I broke the album up into a grid, and
modified each "cell" individually. |

If you have looked at the future
cars section of my site, then you will probably
recognize the car in the picture to the left. I
believe that this picture is from the original Bricklin
dealership brochure (but don't quote me on that). I was
basically playing around with getting a photograph to
look like a man made painting. Turned out pretty
cool, I think. |
| Although not strictly my
own creation, I really like this picture.
This was an exercise in a Photoshop book that I have.
The "god" is a statue in New York (or some
place like that). Take that, add in some clouds, and
make the rest from scratch, and you get the picture on
the right, |

I just couldn't resist. I was
working at "The Summit Consulting Group" in
Denver when I saw this cartoon in the local paper.
I had to modify it slightly, and it was a PERFECT
fit! (It's a Frank & Earnest cartoon). I
didn't change any of the cartoon text, just the graphic
on the wall :) |
| Like most of my
creations, this one came up at about 3:00 in the morning.
I couldn't sleep, and was playing around with the stock photography
that came with Photoshop. The pic to the right is
a compilation of several of the stock pictures from
Adobe, and the application of several filters. |

Can't take full credit for this one
either, it's another exercise example from the
Photoshop book. It was a lot of fun putting all of
the pieced together and getting it to look like the
water was coming out of the TV. |
